Graham and his team in the kitchen strive for perfection with every plate whilst the front of house delivers smooth, knowledgeable and professional service.The cafe-style cuisine is fresh, uncomplicated and very creatively presented. Chef/owner, Graham, continues to produce outstanding and interesting menus, while maintaining some of the signature favourites. Try the pepper-seared tuna sashimi, on Japanese radish and cucumber salad with wasabi, soy and pickled ginger; or the homemade butternut squash raviolis with Madeira cream demi, wild mushrooms, sage, candied pecans and shaved parmigiano. For mains, the popular crispy roasted free-range duck is served on a gingered sweet potato and butternut mash, with grilled asparagus and cinamon-orange demi.Grahams cooking reflects a strong base of classical techniques, with an interesting, modern twist. The menu changes often, making the most of the freshest, seasonal ingredients.The extensive, reasonably priced wine list includes many of the smaller boutique wineries of the Cape.
